Matt Kadosh is an award-winning journalist with over 10 years of experience producing news for digital and print media.
He has expertise in reporting, editing, photography and videography. Kadosh is tenacious in mining municipal and court records for stories, meticulous in research and fact-checking, and has an extensive base of New Jersey local government contacts, including official and unofficial sources.
Kadosh has earned awards from the New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists, Center for Cooperative Media, LION Publishers and New Jersey Press Association.
He is a reporter for Montclair Local, an independent local news nonprofit serving Montclair and Essex County.
Previously, he served as the editor of TAPinto Newark – an award-winning website covering local government, education and other community news in New Jersey’s largest city.
Kadosh also was TAPinto Westfield’s managing editor and before that worked at NorthJersey.com and The Record, part of the USA Today Network.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey. He lives in Bloomfield, New Jersey.
